Bagnall Parish Council: Local Government Reorganisation

Introduction 

Bagnall Parish Council has dedicated considerable effort over recent months to ensure all parishioners are thoroughly informed about the ongoing Local Government Reorganisation. The Council remains firmly opposed to these changes and has taken proactive steps to communicate this resistance within the community.

Both have consistently attended numerous Parish Assembly meetings, ensuring that the concerns and perspectives of Bagnall are communicated effectively. Their commitment has helped guarantee that our community remains updated with the latest developments regarding the proposed reorganisation. 

Keeping Parishioners Informed 

This has been achieved through Parish Council meetings, the distribution of information leaflets inviting parishioners to a follow-up public meeting. This meeting, held on 28 October 2025, was well attended by members of the community, reflecting the high level of local interest and engagement in the issue.
